We found the Wee Lochan Kitchen on the internet when looking for an early dinner before a show at the Hydro. We're so glad we went there, it's a hidden gem! Lots of choice on the menu, the food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was worthy of a restaurant five times the price - truly the best meal we've had in a long time. Everyone was very friendly, service was fast and prices very reasonable too. Would highly recommend it, we'll definitely be back next time we're in Glasgow

A little gem. Small intimate Scottish restaurant. The food is amazing the service is perfect, I couldn't find a flaw even if I wanted to. You can see the chef is so passionate about the food he's serving, such perfect presentation and flavours. Would highly recommend and would surely be back.

Could not recommend highly enough for food, ambience and understanding when you unfortunately live with coeliac. On arriving at short notice … booking late the chef Christopher very quickly adapted my smoked haddock to a sauce that I could eat without any hesitation … it was absolutely delicious and can’t wait to return. Enjoyed the chat too with Polly and educable as this was an unexpected treat from my son … great value for money … does not disappoint.

Hands down the best meal I’ve had. Every dish was bursting with flavour, perfectly proportioned leaving me satisfied. Service was 1st class, from the minute you walk in to walking out the door, the staff are attentive.

The Wee Lochan Kitchen was recommended to us by a friend and our experience there exceeded our already high expectations. The staff were so friendly, thoughtful and kind. The chef adapted the menu for our dietary requirements including vegan and gluten free. The food was beautifully presented, reasonably priced and taste delicious. The red was cosy. The best experience of eating out in Scotland so far.

I only had the pleasure of visiting the original Crow Road location once and really liked it. So after a walk we had a lovely visit here on a Sunday afternoon. I would recommend booking as there are only a few tables. We hadn't, but we managed to get a table outside. Service was excellent throughout. Menu offered fantastic value with current deals of 2 courses for £17 and 3 for £20. We both got the Sunday roast and along with the roast beef came a braised beef shin which was a fantastic meaty bonus. Everything was delicious and just the right amount of gravy. Starters were also of very high quality and taste. Don't be put off by the surrounding neighbourhood. I would recommend this little restaurant for a visit.
